VMWare Horizon Client with CADMouse Pro Wireless and Compact Wireless

I know virtual environments are technically not supported, but a couple other posts here mention success. Has anyone been able to make the 3DConnexion hardware work through the VMWare Horizon client and get the custom button maps to work?
