Can't use SpaceMouse Pro right after the driver installation

I have more than 10 years experience of using 3 different 3DConnexion devices and honestly, I don't remember the day when I installed 3DConnexion software and everything went well.

Lately I've been using old drivers because they worked better, however I always had the issue I described in this topic:

Now I've decided to check how are the newest updates to the software are doing, maybe all my problems are solved. How wrong I was! Navigation works fine, however that's the only thing that works at all. When I press on the "MENU" button on my SpaceMouse Pro, this message appeares:

And I can't do any settings.

1. How can I solve this issue?
2. Is it really freakin so hard to program everything so it will work without bugs ALL THE TIME?
