Hi,
I have a MacStudio running Sonoma 14.3.1. with 128GB of RAM. I am using both the Space Mouse Wireless and CadMouse Pro Wireless, and have the 3DxWare 10 version 10.8.4 installed. Both of the 3Dconnexion devices run well BUT when the computer sleeps, on wake, the 3DconnexionHelper app has hung. The process at this point is taking 0% CPU time, and just continues to increment the "Recent hangs" counter when you look at 3DconnexionHelper process itself in activity monitor.
I can force quit the app by killing the process, and restart it and things return to normal again with the devices being recognized. Other points that may be relevant, Privacy & Settings has the app included under Input Monitoring which is set to allowed.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I can consistently reproduce this. As soon as I sleep the machine, and it wakes again - this background helper app hangs. Is there a fix or something else that has been identified that causes a conflict?
