Is there a way to get the Cadmouse Compact Wireless working well in Linux Mint 22?
The problem I have is that the pointer sort of jumps around and stalls, and I wonder if there is a way to get more reliable performance out of the wireless donngle? it seems to work fine in Windows 10, and even works pretty well in Bluetooth mode on a Raspberry Pi 5, so it's frustrating that it's so clunky in LM. Is there a way to adjust things in Linux?

As a Chinese user, I use this mouse on Deepinv23/UOSv20 with cadMousePro utilities developed by globalcode.
The only problem is, it cant be used in wired mode. If you plug it into pc with usb-c cable, the mouse would freeze in 3 seconds. And I dont know how to fix it.

and compile it.

There are several potential reasons why your wireless dongle might be experiencing performance issues in Linux Mint:
1. Driver Compatibility:
Check for updates: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your wireless dongle. Outdated drivers can cause performance problems.
Compatibility: Some wireless dongles may have limited compatibility with certain Linux distributions or kernel versions. Try searching for compatibility information online or contacting the manufacturer for assistance.
2. Interference:
Remove obstructions: Ensure there are no physical obstructions between your wireless dongle and the router, basketball stars such as walls or metal objects.
Avoid other devices: Try moving away from other wireless devices that might be interfering with the signal.
3. Configuration:
Power management: Disable power management settings for your wireless dongle to ensure it stays active and doesn't go into low-power mode.
Wireless mode: Experiment with different wireless modes (e.g., 802.11a/b/g/n/ac) to see if any improve performance.
Channel selection: Try manually selecting a different wireless channel to avoid interference from other networks.
4. Hardware issues:
Faulty dongle: If the problem persists, it's possible that your wireless dongle is faulty. Try using a different dongle to see if the issue is resolved.
