Is there any hope of 3dconx developing software that supports Apple iOS and specifically Sketchup on the iPad Pro? With so many design programs moving to iOS (Revit, Autocad, Sketchup, Photoshop, etc) it would seem a reasonable market for new device sales, particularly the wireless models.
I do not have any understandings of the difficulties involved regarding hardware of software, so any information that anyone can provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Russ

I follow this topic. Already contacted Support with 2 tickets about this, no reply yet.
Today CadMouse Wireless doesn't work with iPad, I'm not expecting to use it with all the goodies of 3DxWare, but at least as a normal 3 button mouse.
Really looking forword a reply about this.

this would certainly be something I would like to have. Power users of Procreate can zoom in and out with their other hand while drawing with the pan, but it would be more convenient for the artist to have a device for zooming. For this alone a 3dx device would be beneficial.
ZBrush for iPad is announced for 2024.

drawing with the pen of course. Drawing with a pan would be a bit difficult.

Hi,
I think you should try to there is no official confirmation from 3Dconnexion about developing software that supports Apple iOS including for SketchUp on the iPad Pro. While many design programs are indeed moving to iOS the development of such software depends on various factors including market demand, hardware compatibility and software integration challenges. It is worth keeping an eye on 3Dconnexion announcements or contacting them directly for the most up-to-date information.
Thanks

It would be great if there were support for the VMWare Horizon iPad app so I can remotely access and use CAD on a remote blade server using my iPad in a pinch.
Not sure if iPad OS has the APIs to allow this, but figured I'd ask.
