Good hello everyone. I am a very satisfied user of my 8-button Space Traveler.
I encountered a problem and now I'm going to explain well, trying to be of help to other users as well, and maybe look for a solution together.
the software I use the most are in the order (without importance): McNeel Rhinoceros, Blender, Unreal Engine, Twinmotion, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Alias, etc.
What happens now?
If I don't install any driver but hook Space Traveler via USB to the PC it works Rhinoceros and Blender without any problem.
Other software does not recognize the device.
If I install the latest driver downloadable from the official website 3DxSoftware_v3-7-22, Fusion and Blender work (it's a really well supported open source), but with Rhinoceros I lose the functionality and even uninstalling the driver I can no longer work with it (I have to reformat the operating system and redo everything again already tested).
For other software, even if I install 3DxWare64_v10-9-1_b650 I get the message of device not found and I lose compatibility with Fusion 360, Blender and Rhinoceros.
Now I understand that you have to push to buy new products, but the Space Traveler is damn ergonomic and has 8 buttons that when they work are damn useful.
Now I wonder is there a procedure to use all the above software at the same time looking for a step by step procedure that does not make me lose compatibility with other programs.
possible that I have to decide to use no driver Rhinoceros blender / with driver Fusion 360 I'm going crazy and I'm tired of making attempts formatting everything every time and doing strange experiments.
I installed all this software because my son is a student of automation and robotics and would like to use the student licenses without problems with the Space Traveler.
Thanks in advance to those who can give me a solution.
