Cadmouse Pro Thumb Button Issue

Post by PhiDesign »

Hi all
I've had the Cadmouse pro for about two months now, and whatever function I assign the thumb buttons, they stay that way no matter the application I'm using. In AutoCAD, I'd like them to be the F3 and F8 keys for snap and ortho, but when in chrome, I'd like them to be forward and backward. I don't see anything in the 3dconnexion software that allows me to make the buttons application specific, like it is for the Keyboard pro (which I also got at the same time as the mouse).

I have the latest 3dxware driver, and am running a Windows 10 computer.

Any help would be appreciated. I really would like to like this mouse, but if I can't get this basic thing to work, I'll have to go back to the Logitech MX Master, which worked perfectly.

Thanks!

Make sure you are using the latest version of 3dxware. Check if application-specific configuration is enabled in 3Dconnexion settings

In the 3Dconnexion software, create application-specific profiles by selecting the application in the "Advanced Settings" menu. Assign different button functions for each app there. Ensure the latest 3DxWare driver is properly installed for this feature to work.
