Re: macOS Sonoma
I've got SpaceMouse WIreless (via the USB dongle) and CadMouse Compact Wireless (via Bluetooth) working with Archicad on my MacBook Pro on Sonoma 14.5 - all good.
While viewing PDF files, however, I would like to configure SpaceMouse to allow me to zoom in/out. I tried different ways, including Type Keystroke (and mapped it to hitting COMMAND and the + or - keys but nothing happened.
Any tips would be very appreciated, thanks.

Re: macOS Sonoma
I'm experiencing this too w/ same hardware & OS.
The axes don't seem to be programmable in the "Any Application" configuration in the preference pane. Any way to get this working?

Re: macOS Sonoma
My apologies, AmroSalih, I just realized I didn't mention - I'm trying to use my SpaceMouse while viewing PDFs in Apple Preview.
Re: macOS Sonoma
Ooh, this would be a great feature!

Re: macOS Sonoma
Thanks - if you meant for me to post there, I did just now, to recommend Preview support. Other than that, I couldn't see anything helpful at the moment.

Re: macOS Sonoma
I'm able to use my device successfully in Rhino 8 under Sonoma.
Re: macOS Sonoma
3Dconnexion released today (Nov 8, 2024) v. 10.8.6 of 3DxWare 10 specifically to address the "installation stuck" observed by some customers (internally tracked with reference MAC-518). The software can be downloaded from here but if you are already on v. 10.8.5, there is no need to update.
The installer will now check for a corrupted installation of the system extension that can happen if the "3Dconnexion" folder is deleted without first running the uninstaller program. If a corrupted installation is found, a warning panel is shown and customers can follow link to an FAQ article with additional details and how to recover the system (there are different procedures depending on the system version and if the "3Dconnexion" folder can be put back in "Applications"). The FAQ article is here.
On behalf of the Engineering team at 3Dxconnexion, we very much regret how long it took us to understand the root of the problem and we apologise for all the inconvenience it has caused.

Re: macOS Sonoma
Ooops, and now its here, 10.8.6 .....
Re: macOS Sonoma
Finally, with this installer version I was able to install 10.8.6
It's still stuck on the 3d home connection window. Just throw it in the trash and the problem is solved.
But the shortcuts still don't work... And they worked with the good old spacepilotpro, we could program all the shortcuts key, with all the applications you wanted for years...
But not with the space mouse entreprise or the cad mouse.
When will you make a driver as good as the old one?

Re: macOS Sonoma
The system extension must be allowed by the customer before the 3Dconnexion software can function properly.
Only the user can "allow" the system extension even if the software is signed by 3Dconnexion's credentials and has gone through the notarization process. The restriction is imposed by the system.

Re: macOS Sonoma
Thank you, I know that.
But, no matter how many times I tell it that it's allowed to run, that window comes back every time I start it up.
I've just tried to uninstall it (with your uninstaller) and now I get this alert. See attached screenshot.
an idea?
