Unreal behavior

I have a camera in UE that I'm trying to control, to emulate a drone flying around. It sort of works, but then will just in the middle of flying ... stop working properly. Up becomes down or other axes just suddenly change. Like right in the middle of it. Other times the the camera doesn't move at all - until it suddenly does. The camera is selected in the Outliner, nothing changes in what I'm doing - it just doesn't work and then just does.

Any thoughts on how to get this to work consistently and properly?? This is in a 5.3 project, if that's relevant.


I'm also then trying to record the flight of the camera in Take Recorder - but once I hit record, I no longer can control the camera with the spacemouse, no matter what I do. If anyone happens to know how to solve that, please lmk! But primarily I'd just like the device to actually work properly. :)
