MacOS Sequoia 15.1
3DxMacCore Version 1.3.5.501 (501)
3DxWare version 10.8.5 (3798)
SpaceMouse Enterprise Firmware 4.42
I have my MacBook connected to a TB4 dock. The SpaceMouse (SME) is connected to a USB port on the dock. In the evening when I've finished working I close the lid of my MacBook and turn off power to the dock. In the morning, I power on the dock and open the lid of my MacBook. The SME comes alive and works to the extent that all functions operate as expected (I use Fusion 360): all programmed buttons, orientations, movements etc. However, the LED screen does not show the button setting text, just sits with the SpaceMouse Enterprise splash screen. The only way I can get the button text to display is to unplug it from the dock and replug it after waiting, say, 10 seconds (too quickly and it doesn't resolve the problem), i.e. cycle the connection and power. At that point, the SME powers up with the splash screen that then rolls up bringing the button text on to the display.
This doesn't feel like a connection problem from the MacBook end - it's obviously recognised by the MacBook and Fusion 360 and works - but instead a bug in the firmware startup routine. Obviously I don't know the difference in code operation between "turning on power at the wall socket" and "turning on power by removing/inserting the USB plug" but essentially that's what it seems to boil down to.

Re: SpaceMouse Enterprise doesn't "startup" correctly after power off
Hi!!
Same problem Here.
I am working on Windows 11 home.
After close a session and a enter again to my PC the SpaceMouse Enterprise doesn't starts, the screen it's disabled and the only that I had find to solve that issue it's to unplug and plug again....
Any solution for this?

Hi facudejota.
Can you plesse check which firmware version do you have on your SME?
You can check it by openning SmartUi, clicking more menu and selecting about.

These replies seemed to take a long time to come up on my forum view, as I've only just seen them! Anyway as the OP, perhaps I could get some help: my SME is on firmware 4.42.
Re: SpaceMouse Enterprise doesn't "startup" correctly after power off
Just to add, it still does this after recent upgrade. I'm now on:
3DxMacCore version 1.3.6.516 (516)
3DxWare version 10.8.6 (3819)
Thanks
