Hi I have some question about the spacemouse.

Can the spacemouse function as a regular mouse, meaning can it replace a standard mouse? Additionally, does it work with Excel and Microsoft Database?

No; partially works with Excel, in the Pro/Enterprise, there are some extra buttons that can be mapped to Excel function menus.
