Off Button?

Off Button?
I can't find the off button. I can't work out how to get the LCD screen to turn off automatically when the device is not in use, even stays on for weeks without even touching it. I looked at settings and there was nothing except turn it off always?
Re: Off Button?
You want a timeout, like on your laptop screen?
Dim, or off?
We have discussed it internally. You may be the second customer who asked about it.

Re: Off Button?
Most people don't bother giving feedback. It seems ridiculous to have 30+ buttons and not one of them can turn it off or on. You should have a software upgrade so like if I press "ESC+Enter+Delete" it turns on/off.
Re: Off Button?
You can assign "LCD Toggle" to a button.
Re: Off Button?
What does that mean? "LCD Toggle"
I downloaded the latest drivers and I have been struggling to use it for days now, its unusable now after years of using it normally. Its causing the screen to glitch constantly, less than every second, and in the 3D view it keeps moving, even after dozens of "calibrations".

Re: Off Button?
In our GUI, in the Buttons page, select 3Dconnexion->LCD Toggle for a button. You can then press that button to toggle on/off the SME LCD.
It looks like you might be having power issues. The SME uses a lot of power. It often requires being connected directly to a powered USB port. If nothing changed with your hardware arrangement, we might need to investigate further.

Re: Off Button?
Thanks for your reply. I couldn't find "In our GUI".
How do you connect it to a powered USB port when it needs to be connected to the computer?
Nothing changed with hardware. I did update to Windows 11. I had to reinstall devices and so I updated drivers.
I can't connect the space mouse without it causing the computer to start glitching and opening windows or zooming non stop.
Basically can't use the computer with it disconnected, this comes after years of using without a problem.

Re: Off Button?
It appears that I was able to get the SME to work by putting into its own 3.0 USB port, when before I updated the drivers I could use a splitter (with the mouse) into a 2.0 USB port. Will let you know if I have more problems.
