Hi all,
I just got SpaceMouse Pro Wireless and trying to install the driver on macOS Tahoe 26.1.
The latest driver from 3dconnexion download page installed successfully and the restart also ok.
When I tried to run 3Dconnexion home I got prompted to enable the "Driver Extensions" in the "login Items & Extensions" but there is no "Driver Extensions" I can see on this setup page.
Until it is enabled I can't even run any of the apps.
Does anyone know the issue with this?
Thanks all.

Re: Driver Extensions not even visible in Tahoe 26.1
I am seeing the same issue. Numerous uninstalls and reinstalls, disabled the SIP from recovery mode, tried an older driver version, even updated my OS to Tahoe (was running Sequoia) and reinstalled the latest driver and nothing worked.
My SpaceMouse Compact is not recognized by 3DConnexion software at all and the driver extension doesn't exist. However, it does move the cursor and it is recognized under USB devices.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,
Have you maybe used a macOS time machine for during switching to macOS Tahoe 26.1?

I did not use time machine. I even brought my newer SpaceMouse Compact in to my work today and it doesn't work either.
Re: Driver Extensions not even visible in Tahoe 26.1
I am pretty sure a lot of people using macOS Tahoe 26.1 by now.
Could you guys share some info and perhaps tell us whether you actually see the "Driver Extensions" in the "login Items & Extensions"?
I really want to start using this mouse instead of it being an expensive paperweight right now.
BTW - does 3dconnexion's support people monitor this board?
Thanks all.

Re: Driver Extensions not even visible in Tahoe 26.1
I also have that problem since I installed the latest driver under Tahoe.
I installed Tahoe already with the Public Betas, so AFAIK there were at least 1-2 drivers running nicely before the last one.
(BTW, currently I do not have any of my 3DConnexion devices attached)
When installing the lastest driver with the usual right management requests, initially looks all good until after the reboot when it asks for the Driver Extension. But here I can see the KEXT.
I choose to open Apple Settings, try to activate that KEXT, input password, but it will not switch on and the 3DConnection dialog just disappeared.
I tried a few times to open Settings again and reactivate the KEXT but it just did not let me do ....
(Could be 3DConnexion's latest driver version, could be 26.1 update - although I had 26.1 running fine with the previous driver for a while - so maybe just a problem with installations ....)
When writing this, I thought I should to try again .... and now (possibly a few reboots later) I have to see that the KEXT is magically activated !?
OK, but I read that today 26.2 got released. So I will update all my devices now and see what happens

Re: Driver Extensions not even visible in Tahoe 26.1
Hi all,
Just an update to inform people in the same situation as me.
On another mac I have running MacOS Tahoe 26.2 it is working perfectly. I can see the 3DConnexionHelper Driver Extension listed.
So if you have problem try to upgrade to Tahoe 26.2.
Hope this is useful for those having the same problem.

Re: Driver Extensions not even visible in Tahoe 26.1
same issue here.
MacBook Air M1 13", on Tahoe 26.2 and also updated on 26.3.
installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, a combination of these.
nothing seems to do the trick.
on an older MacBook Pro 2012 with Sonoma (open core) it works, besides not being snappy, on Onshape.
3dmouse and cad mouse.
really frustrating to say at least.
anyone had find a solution to this problem?

Do you have a corporate computer? Is it running device profiles? Do you have CoreTex or GlobalProtect or some other profile that blocks system extensions? It's an IT issue for me.
