Acrobat 9 Reader and Pro Extended - Zoom not working

Post by xxiipper »

I have a SpaceNavigator running on Windows XP x64 with 3Dxware v3.6.8. Spin and pan work in Acrobat 9 Reader and 9 Pro Extended, but not zoom. There was no problem in Acrobat 3D. Is this a known bug? Are there any fixes/workarounds? I also have the same problem with a SpaceExplorer on the same machine. Thanks.

Open up the 3dcontrol panel
select App configuration
Make sure dominant is not checked and verify
Pan\zoom
Tiltspin roll are checked.
Also click on advanced setting and veriify all your axises are checked.

Yes, Dominant is not checked and all others are checked, but still no zoom. What's strange is with the Zoom Direction set to "In/Out" on the Device Configuration tab, when I pull it "in", after a few seconds a clipping plane come in a clips the part in half. Something is zooming, just not the part.

Bump ^ for any possible solution to this problem. I would really like to get this working again. We just upgraded from Acrobat 8 where there were no problems to Acrobat 9 Pro Extended where zoom no longer works. We use Acrobat pretty much constantly. :(

Mysteriously, zoom works again in Acrobat 9 Pro Extended but I've no idea how it was fixed.
