MS Office compatibility

Post by chrisn »

The 3D connexion drivers do not carry the use of the spaceball et al into Office 2007. This is rubbiish. The most commonly used software programmes in the world are no longer compatible with the spaceball.
For example; MS Word 2007 and MS Excel cannot scroll any more using the spaceball. If I download the legacy version of the driver I can only get the zoom to work, scroll does not operate.

Come on guys, this is an awesome device but you need to keep the compatibility with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat running.

Hello chrisn:

Thank you for your feedback.

Adobe Acrobat should work with SpaceBall. Support exists within 3DxSoftware for Acrobat for both 2D and 3D, and for Reader.

As for MS Office 2007, it is true that we are not supporting the suite of applications at this time. Sorry for your inconvenience and should that change at some time in the future, we will assuredly let you know.
