3ds Max 2010 / Maya 2009 not saving all Button settings

3ds Max 2010 - I have the [F3] and [F4] keys assigned to the [-] and [+] buttons on my SpaceExplorer. However, these get reset every time I start 3ds Max. They used to save, but now I have to set it each time. Can this be fixed?

And a similar problem...

Maya 2009 - I have the [Alt] key assigned to the [Fit] button on my SpaceExplorer. However, it resets back to "Fit" every time I start Maya. Can this be fixed?
