Heads up for Maya Subscription Advantage Pack

Post by PixL »

Heads up for Maya 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack:
It is installed into a different directory than previous versions. After uninstalling Maya 2011, the 3D Connection drivers will be left in the old dir. Copy to the corresponding new dirs and all will be fine (at least its working for me).
On my system, the files included:
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2011\docs\ext\3DxHelp
3DxMaya.chm
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2011\icons
3DxCube_24x24.xpm
3DxCube_30x30.xpm
3DxHelp_24x24.xpm
3DxHelp_30x30.xpm
3DxLogo_200x90.bmp
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2011\bin\plug-ins
3DxMaya.mll
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2011\scripts\startup
C3DxButtonEditor.mel
C3DxControlPanel.mel
C3DxMapping.mel
C3DxMatrix.mel
C3DxView.mel

userSetup.mel needs to include the code:
MagellanStartup;
In some versions, this had to be the last command or the spacePilot wouldn't work. Not sure if this is still the case.
