Post by nest89 »

Hello :)

When approximately (date required), we can expect to see a working SDK for Windows (available for download and use in a commercial critical applications)?

And, please, get in touch with our API Support team. They can always help. Contact details on the SDK page (My3Dx account needed).

Still waiting for an SDK. :? Also, the RawInput examples seem to be down again. I get "550 The system cannot find the file specified." I need something I can work with...

It is looking like the SDK will be made available for general use next week. These things always take longer than we expect...

I was just able to access the ftp-us server. Perhaps it was down earlier.

You are perfectly right, the server is indeed accessible. But FYI: it took an actual FTP client to connect to it. I couldn't get any of my web browsers to do it.

Where can I find the information for the FTP site mentioned above? I bought my SpaceMouse Pro from SolidWorks World on Tuesday with the hope that I could dive right into the SDK.

This post contains some information on programming examples that don't use the 3DxWare SDK. There are many ways to access the 3D mouse. The 3DxWare SDK is only one of them, although it is the most tightly integrated with the 3DxWare driver (no surprise).

The best thing is to sign up as a developer on My3Dx. When we make significant announcements for developers, we will email everyone on the developer list.
