I am using the SpaceNavigator model at work for Solidworks. Never used such a peripheral before; really useful.
I have changed the controls to suit my preferences save one, and I would like to know if it is possible. I want to remap the axis controls; simply put, I want to switch the clockwise rotation (twisting the knob) with the motion for rolling my wrist to the left. No one at work believes this is possible so I thought I would ask.

Re: Remap Axis Controls
Hello game2create-
The axis change that can be made from the current software GUI changes the zoom direction and swaps spin and roll .
To see if this is what you are interested in, open the 3Dconnexion Properties window and switch to the up and down zoom [green arrow]. You'll see that change causes the spin and roll axis directions to swap.

Re: Remap Axis Controls
Thank you, Barbara, for your help.
I see now that by assigning the zoom property to pushing the switch up and down, I swapped the two axises on the rotation. Too bad I can't have both; oh well... I'd rather reacclimate myself to the zoom then deal with off-putting rotational control.
