wiping out autocad drawings

Since I've installed the navigator, I've had Acad shut down on me without any warning. The last time it shutdown, it deleted everything! That is un-acceptable. I'd like to hear a resonse on this, good or bad. Is there a fix?
I'm using acad 2002, thanks,

Unfortunately 3Dconnexion doesn't support AutoCAD 2002 any more. Please make an upgrade of AutoCAD and upgrade your 3DxSoftware too. You will have more functionality and the new releases are more stable as well.
