S-Navigator:3dXv10.2:LEDS:Off After Sleep/Resume-Vista32bit

Using the new 3d Xware 10 v10.2.0, the LEDS work fine until I wake up the desktop PC in the morning after sleeping it overnight.
In the past, this has sometimes meant restarting the S-Navi/3d Xware, but with the current version, it is working OK in this state, but not lit up.

I can get the LEDs to come on via the system tray icon, but only by turning them off & then on again.

Anything I can do to get them lit up by default after resuming from sleep?
(so I know it's working OK without testing)

Best guess.....

The PC sleep puts the SpaceNav in power saving mode, but not via the driver.
So when the PC wakes up, the driver thinks that the light is still on (because it never told it to turn off).
Thats why toggling it off and back on fixes it.

I dont think the driver can 'ask' the SpaceNav for the condition of its LED to determine if it needs to be turned back on.

That should work as expected. The driver knows when the machine comes back to life. It restores the LEDs to the requested state (or tries to)--but there have been driver versions in the past when it didn't. This could be an interesting case to diagnose.

Other devices (like my USB WiFi) are of a broadly similar nature, and they wake up from sleep just fine.
I can't find any "power" options in the driver properties - I seem to remember some devices do have such extra options
(but it's been a while since I saw which ones/how they are accessed, and I've slept a lot of times since then )

If you think I can help with any diagnosis, please say.
Ironically, this morning after wake-up, the LEDs are on without any intervention from me.
I'm trying to remember - but I have a feeling I didn't go out of my way to toggle them back on yesterday.
Maybe it's toggling them each sleep/wake cycle?
If so, it may be a straightforward change to make them always come on each wake-up...

I just bought the SpaceMouse Pro Wireless and I am having issues with the LED lights and green power light. Both work fine when the mouse is plugged into the computer via the USB cable but as soon as I switch to the wireless function, the lights will come on for approximately 3 seconds and then dim out. All of the functions of the mouse work properly even though both the power and led lights are not illuminated. What is the issue?? Seems to me that they should work just fine in wireless mode. I have made sure that I have the LED active option selected on the task bar.

The LEDs are not on all the time in wireless mode by design. They use too much power.

Going back on the posted topic of Space Navigator LEDs...

The past two times of coming back out of sleep mode, the LEDs are back on each time.

I haven't rebooted since my OP, so I don't know if just toggling them on once after a sleep/wake cycle cures the problem until the next reboot, but it is a possibility.
