Problem with 3DstudioMax9
Hi, I've just bought an Explorer and a Navigator to work with Max9 and it just don't work in my machine in the office. It's an old dual Xeon 2.8GHz with 3GB RAM running WinXP SP2. Its very strange, the drivers (3.4.2)install perfectly like in the other machines that the devices work good, but unlike those machines, in this one when I open Max9 the are no movement, no buttons, anything working. The drivers are installed with admin previleges and the device is recognized good. What is wrong with this? Thanks

Is the 3DxSoftware really installed at all?
At first please check wether the device works on that PC starting one of the demos delivered with 3DxSoftware. These are available under:
Start -> All Programs -> 3Dconnexion -> 3Dconnexion 3DxWare -> Demos
Does the device work?
Do you have a full, commercial version of 3DStudio Max 9?
Is the 3DxSoftware really installed at all?
