ISHELPER library not found

After encountering a problem I tried to uninstall 3dx software from my machine. It will not allow me to do this and get the error message above. I am now in the position wherre my navigator will not work but I can neither reinstall or uninstall the software. I can now no longer acces the control panel or configuration wizard.
I have tried loading the software onto another machine and it freezes during installation. Bizarrely, I cannot access 3dconnexion.com on either machine, although I can access 3dconnexion.co.uk!

What OS are you running?
If its Win Xp
http://support.microsoft.com/default.as ... -us;290301

Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package.

After installing run the application.

Look for 3dconnexion or anything with a []
allow it to remove those entries.

Check your permissions on the second pc.
You may not have admin rights to install software.
Also if you go to our website
choose support
driver download
select your product
your OS (remember win 2000, xp, xp64, vista are combined then choose the 3.4.2 driver and download save to desktop then run the installation.

I'm running Win Vista Business. The second machine is running XP. After talking to Technical support, I have been asked to send Navigaor and software back to base in Germany. I'm expecting it back next week.
I still can't remove existing software from either machine.
Should I try the link you have supplied on the machine running Vista?

Check with Microsoft on there site to see if they have a Windows install cleanup program for Vista.

I managed to uninstall using Windows Installer Cleanup as you suggested. Both machines are now clear of all 3d sotware. Thank you for your help.

My new navigator is on its way. Hopefully everything will work this time.

Just to let you know that the new Navigator arrived and is working perfectly. The first one I received was indeed faulty and caused some error which meant I couldn't install through the normal channels.

It's all sorted now. Many thanks again.
