CadMouse buttons

Post by racztomi »

Hi
New here, lots of info, difficult to find the exact info I need, please redirect me if already answered.

How can I reprogram CadMouse buttons for all programs? Existing and future ones?
I do not need the middle button and I wish to assign the right button to it for all programs I have. Including future ones.
This means not to go through the reassignment of funtion for every single programs installed on my computer one by one, also for any new installations in the future.
Doing it once and smile.
I only find per program configuration. If I set a configuration lets say for Windows Explorer I need to repeat it for Firefox, Word, etc., everything.

Also the forward button is in the way many times, I press it unintendedly, I consider disabling it.
How can I do that?

Thanks

Hello racztomi,

if you feel save editing XML files then you can add an entry to your Global.XML file from your %APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg folder. You should open the XML file from an application where you created this change already and then copy this to the Global.XML.
