Spacenavigator not navigating space correctly

Hi all,

Quite randomly today my spacenavigator has started playing up.
When I try and "Tilt forward" with the cap it seems to want to zoom out instead of obit the model. Its a bit inconsistent, sometimes it works correctly but mostly it doesn't. All the other motions appear to work properly.

I've tried the following:
- Updated drivers to 10.5.4
- Restarted PC
- Unplugged and re-plugged the device
- calibrated the device

After trying all that I'm inclined to think it might be a hardware issue, however its not even 18 months old...

I'm using solidworks 2017 SP5.0 on Windows 10 x64

Any ideas?

if the device is faulty we will provide a replacement device. You need to contact our Technical Support Team. They will do the necessary troubleshooting and if it turns out the device is faulty the colleagues will start the RMA process for you.
