Problems With Catia Functionality

Hi there,
Ive just taken delivery of my shiny new space pilot, although i have had problems with the programmable buttons in Catia V5r16.
There are no pre programmed functions being shown on the lcd screen.
Also there is no possible way of programming my own functions.
As you can imagine after spending the extra money on the space pilot i really do expect this function to work!

NB: There is no problems with this function in solidworks.

Hi bmonty65,

You may have an old driver configuration for a previous version of CATIA.

With CATIA running and on the foreground, open the driver panel (3Dconnxion Control Panel) and ensure that you have the "CATIA" configuration selected.

If you open Catia and either press the panel button on the SpacePilot, or double click on the 3DConnexion icon in the system tray it will bring up the Catia button mapping tool. There will be two default configurations. You can create a new configuration by clicking on the new button then customize.
Whether you use a default configuration or your custom configuration it shows up on the SpacePilot lcd panel.
