Hallo christian.sturm,

3DX Fehler.PNG
3DX Fehler.PNG (34.46 KiB) Viewed 12214 times
Office Pro Plus 2019
Adobe Creativ Collection CC2020
Inventor 2020
Revit 2020
Sketchup 2020
Vray for Sketchup
Enscape

Ist hier Abhilfe möglich ?
Gruß, Bernhard

Hallo Bernhard,

welche Antivirus-Software verwendet Ihr denn?

Trend Micro.

- Software Deinstallation / neu Installation bringt keine Besserung

Thank you for sharing this information.

In the version 10.6.9 of 3DxWare 10 for Windows (published today), we changed to SHA-2 digital signatures (SHA-256 variant). We do not know if this will resolve the issues with Trend Micro and other security software as we don't understand why our programs -- such as 3dxprofileserver.exe -- are being blocked.

The latest version of the software is available for download here.

Sorry but can't follow the dialogue but hope this is might be of help.

I am using Trend and consistently got this error message on all machines just after booting up. Depending on where I am working the machines run Win 10 and or Win 7 and this made no difference. I used to click it away and try to ignore it but it became an irritation. Having read this thread got me thinking about Trend as the issue.

The solution was to go into Trend Console/Device/Security Settings/Exception Lists and add the two 3DConnexion folders to the list. There are two folders, one in Program Files and one in Program Files (x86).

This seems to have stopped the error message.

Thank you for sharing this.

We have seen others reporting success by adding an exception for 3Dconnexion's software. Still, what we would like to know is why Trend Micro is blocking the software in the first place.

Do you recall any error messages in a Trend Micro log or some other message?

Good morning

I can't say I have ever seen an error message on Trend or any suggestion of a 'virus' or similar.

I had just done a clean load of Win10 on my machine and had loaded Fusion 360 and 3Dconnexion driver for Win 10 and had forgotten to load Trend at that stage. I suddenly realised that I did not get the Exception error message. I then remembered seeing mention of Trend in this thread and put 2 and 2 together. Sure enough the Exception came back once loading Trend and the Exception entry removed it.

Why it does it I don't know ... and I wonder what else Trend does behind the scenes or is it an interaction between Trend and Microsoft Defender ?
Having spend a whole day trying to get Google Mail to connect to Outlook my faith in software is at an all time low....

Same here on one machine.

I only have one Folder in "Program Files", no one in (x86).

As far as we can tell, the issue is rooted in a component included in Trend Micro and other software.

Not sure if there's anything you can do short of replacing Trend Micro if you're already at the latest version but perhaps you can look if it is possible to disable the "SecureClient" (or "OfficeScan") component.

Hi

We have also been experiencing this error and tried to add the 3Dconnexion folder to exception in Windows Defender. Did not work.
But we also tried to install an older version of 10.6.4 and we also have it installed on another machine running 10.6.0 and they are both working fine.
Just wanted to share the info so it could help someone else to get it working.
