AutoCAD 2008 3D rotations

Post by CanuckChuck »

My SpaceNavigator works perfectly in 2007, but the 3D functionality does not in 2008. It pans and zooms but does not invoke the 3D motions. Is there a toggle that I am missing somewhere?

:P I had a legacy version of the Microstation mdl from 2004, loaded it with and withsome hoops, my new navigator works in Microstation :D

Hi CanuckChuck,

Which system and driver do you use?

What I have found so far is switching to 3D wireframe. I them have full functionality.

User clarkrj is correct. Switching to 3D wireframe will enable rotations. The same happens when using the normal mouse and the "3DOrbit" command is started : the command switches to 3D wireframe to allow rotations and then switches back to 2D wireframe when it terminates.
