To use SpaceNavigator with Matlab/Simulink

Post by a-suke »

Hi.
I wrote this message from Japan.
I can't write English so well.
So please forgive me to use broken English.

I'm bought SpaceNavigator PE a few days ago.
I enjoyed Google Earth with this device.
And I wish I could use it with Matlab/Simulink.

You know, Matlab/Simulink is a CAE software to develop or simulate control plant models, and so on.
Simulink interface is able to zoom in/out, to move up/down/right/left.
So if SpaceNavigator device can be used, it maybe very useful!!

Is there any drivers for Matlab/Simulink?
Or, if it's have to develop drivers, how can I develop that?
(It's another problem whether I can develop drivers or not.) :?

We encourage you to contact the software developers for Simulink CAE software and share with them your thoughts and desires for them to incorporate use of our 3DMice with their applications. We provide a free API, Application Programmer's Interface, on our web site, to make it easy for them to incorporate input signals from our devices into their software applications.
