Space Navigator & SolidWorks08

If I am zoomed in tight on something and then just touch the navigator...it jumps to place else on the model. It isn't zooming, rotating or even panning. It just plain jumps to a different spot. Any ideas why it would be doing this?

Nevermind...I am kind of imaptient and I went through and started turning off one thing at a time until I found it. It was the keep in view enabled that made it do this. Shut it off and it works like it should.

Hi IL_Bow_Man,
It was the keep in view enabled that made it do this. Shut it off and it works like it should.
The "Keep in View" option is disabled ("off") by default.
