I am unable to program the buttons or even change to another button configuration inside of 3dsmax 2008 64-bit after updating the driver to the new version.
Windows Vista Business 64-bit
The space pilot worked flawless before the update. I am trying to prepare for autocad 09 and max 09 installs. Actually Autocad 09 is installed and works fine.
I did an uninstall of the old drivers before installing the new.
The Space Pilot works as far as panning and zooming and rotating but the first 5 buttons all say 3dsmax and cannot be changed in the button editor.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delay. Please try the following:
1. Stop 3DxWare
2. Navigate to %appdata%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\profiles\
3. Create a new folder named "backup"
4. Move all your .scg-files to the backup-folder
5. Start the driver
6. Start 3ds Max
If this works please send the files from the backup-directory to the address you will find in your forum inbox.
