thank you very much.
Now, I have another little problem. How do you call up the Button Assignment inside 3dsmax? In the try to find the 3dsmax Panel Fn, I mapped the Button Assignment button to another function. Now I can't go there anymore.
In earlier driver versions one could call up the Button Assignment in the Utilities tab.
Great update in the new driver... BUT...

Here is a comparison of the new and old menus. You can see many controls are missing in the new menu. Yes, some of them can be accessed via the 3DxWare Control Panel, but that is extra, and previously unnecessary, work.
Well, I made an image to upload but I see I can't do that without putting it on another host site first. That's not very helpful. Ok, I will list the differences:
Old Menu has these settings but new menu does not:
-Center of Rotation: Camera/View, Focal Point, Scene/Object
-Disable Rolling
-Enable Dominant Axis Filter
-Align Axes to Reference Coordinate System
-Suspend Motion
-Sensitivity: Translation, Rotation (individual and much more precise control)
And why doesn't the new "smart" center of roation respond to sub-object selections? This is VERY DAMAGING to productivity. I created a post about this but have not got a reply yet.[/img]

3Dconnexion posted today Beta 1 for Release 3.12. It includes improvements to the navigation feature in the add-in solution for Autodesk 3ds Max:
- New "Target Camera" navigation mode;
- Auto rotation center algorithm take only the selected geometry in a first step, moving to all geometry if a good match is not found;
- Fix: Auto rotation center algorithm would fail to detect some 3D geometry.
