Could you test if the Adobe plug-in influences your system in the same way while connectig the 3D mouse through an USB-hub with own power supply?

I am not sure if we have a independent powered USB-HUB here.
I'll have to ask IT support for it.
Don't know how long that will take

I asked around and no one has a independent powered USB hub laying around. I am afraid I can't help u guys
