A plea to all users of Vue...

Please let the folks at e-on software know that support is wanted for 3DConnexion products.

Operating system: Windows Vista
Desktop resolution: 1280x1024
Color depth: 32 bits (millions of colors)
e-on software product version (and build # if available): N/A

Does e-on plan on support for any of 3DConnexion's 3D mice (SpacePilot, SpaceNavigator, SpaceExplorer, etc.) as e-frontier has with Poser 7.0.2?
Just curious if anything is in the works.
Cheers!

Hi Kurt,

I'm afraid this haven't been considered so far due to the lack of demand, but if we get enough requests in the future, we may look into this for a future version. Thank you very much for your understanding.

Best regards.

Dear Scoilt,

We encourage you to contact the software developers for e-on software,
(http://www.e-onsoftware.com/support/Fee ... 1187219015&) and share with them your thoughts and desires for them to incorporate use of our 3DMice with their applications.

We provide a free API, Application Programmer's Interface, on our web site, (http://www.3dconnexion.com/support/4f.php), to make it easy for them to incorporate input signals from our devices into their software applications.

Let the applications designers them know how you would use our 3dmice in their application. Let them know how the improved user interface is valuable to you in speeding your work and releasing your creativity. Let them know how much easier it would be for you to choose their software with this additional functionality.

Sincerely,
Bryan

I believe he did. :)
...and is encouraging others to also contact them, just as they said.

That is the perfect way to get things done. ISVs only do what their customers request.

...do they have a forum people can also post on???

E-On's forums have been down forever and they now send users to the Cornucopia 3D forums. I've posted there as well... The more requests for SpaceNavigator/Pilot/Etc. support, the better...
