Space Navigator and Remote Desktop

Post by cwho »

Hello,

We have tried SN in our office but they always get unplugged after a short time.. In particular they were on our main CAD stations but when we (occasionally) go home, people like to get to the CAD station via Remote Desktop (MS-RDP). The complaint is that you can't navigate at all if the SN is plugged in. Has anyone else seen this. Unlike some posts, we do not want to take the SN home and use it remotely.

Is there a way toset up a workstation so that the the SN driver is disabled for RDP sessions? If there is a solution is it the same for 32 bit and 64 bit xp versions.
Thanks
Charles
