Spaceball 5000 and Autocad LT 2008

Has anyone got the Spaceball 5000 to work with Autocad LT?

Works fine with Pro E on the same workstation.

Windows XP SP2 here.

The instalation instruction in the Autocad 2008 folder are lame. It says install manually then tell you the BUGs and doesn't tell you how to install manually.

Looking to get Spacepilot for our company but we need these devices to work with Autocad lt.

Autocad LT Does not allow Addins.
You will not be able to use our device in the Application.
This was a decision of Autocad to not allow Addins hence LT.
