Toolbar isn't active in Solidworks 2008 for SpaceEplorder

Hello,

Toolbar isn't active in Solidworks 2008 for SpaceEplorder

It is on the list of toolbars, but it is gray.

Did somebody know what to do? I've already download the latest driver and 3dxWare SDK 2.0 32-bit.

Are there more options?

If the toolbar is greyed out you have to re-enable the toolbar.
go to addins
select the 3dcontrol
verify you have it enabled to launch at startup of solidworks.

But that already be checked.

It is still be gray, so other suggestions?

What OS are you using XP, Vista?

If its Vista make sure you run 3dxsrv.exe as administrator.

If your running XP, close out od Soildworks.
Go to add remove program.
Choose 3DConnexion
select change, run
select Modify.
verify all the plugins you need are checked.
continue with the repair.
Next open Solidworks and see if the toolbar is active

p.s also right click at the top of the solidworks and make sure the plugin is enabled there as well.

Thx for the quick response again, Fred. All checkboxes were checked. So that wasn't the problem.

But in Sw2008 the top toolbar (File, Edit, etc) is hidden behind the Solid Works logo. In that toolbar there is a pull down with 3D connection. In that pull down menu you can active the toolbar.

But right click customize there is the toolbar 3D control still gray

So, we found a work around.
