Using SpaceNavigator in Catia (Spinning)

New user here. This is my question. I am getting used to using the SN, but one thing is nagging me. Say I am rotating my part, when I let go of the SN, the part keeps rotating. If I do a zoom, it will keep zooming, etc.. How do I keep this from happening.

Open the 3dcontrol panel,
Make sure nothing is touching the device.
Click on calibrate.
Next push ok.

Test the device

It worked. Thank you. This is a great device. It is especially cool with google earth.
