UG NX--Do I have to re-boot?

I have been using my SpaceNavigator for quite a while and really like it. One thing that bothers me though is that if it is not plugged into the computer on start up, I cannot get it to function with UG NX4. It is a pain since I frequently take the computer to different offices and if I don't remember to plug in the SpaceNavigator first, I have to re-boot. Is there any work around for this?

Did you start the driver after you plugged in the device?
What message do you get when you try to launch the driver?

Alright. Problem solved! I was starting the driver with NX running. If I shut NX down and then start the driver everything is fine. That's a heck of a lot better than re-booting. Thank you.
