3Ds Max Animating parent/child & biped

Post by Dasnoujammer »

I own a spacetraveler. It's great, and would be even greater if Zbrush supported it. Anyhow, I love using it in 3Ds Max. Especially the auto-key feature. It makes key frame animation less clean (a good thing). I do have a problem tough. If objects are linked, I can animate the parent, but not the children. The child locks. Same story with bones or bipeds. It would be great to animate bones with the traveler. A sort of cheap motion capture.

Hello Dasnoujammer:

Thank you for your feedback. Currently, our device and software support is not built to do that, but we appreciate the suggestion. As we evaluate future support of 3ds max, if we see that this becomes a highly needed item, we will evaluate within our development schedule.

Hi,

I know this is an old post, but has this problem been resolved?
