Help needed to sort - No Roll with SketchUp Pro

Post by maxum33 »

Hi all,
I've got a real hiccup with my SpaceMouse as no matter what I've tried I can't get the roll to work!!
Installed on an 2 different iMac's and a MacBook Air all with the same result.
Everything else seems to work fine.
I've tried removing all traces of the installs, drivers and SketchUp, and re-done a full clean install.
All functions work fine in other programs.
Any help greatly appreciated Oh Wise Ones :)

de-select 'Lock Horizon'

Post by Bryan »

Dear maxum33,

You would want to bring up our Menu and de-select 'Lock Horizon'. For most architectural work, most users would want the horizon lock on and ,therefore, it has been selected as the default setting. However, if you are a woodworker, you are probably not concerned with the horizon, so would like to make use of a full range of motion.

When you start SketchUp you should be shown a dialog box labeled 3dmouse news (if you have not disabled it's display), that describes bringing up this menu. The menu is brought up by keying the button that has been mapped for it.

Sincerely,
Bryan

Solved...

Thanks Bryan,
1.7.1 installed and Menu works correctly now allowing 'Lock Horizon' to be un-ticked.
Just checked the forum to see the solution from you confirming the same.
Thanks for the reply though.
Cheers. :D
