CadMouse erratic scroll

Post by pabraham »

Seems that happens after couple years of working. Scrolling gets all messed up, whether forward or back, and for certain cad is pretty annoying when zooming in/out. Short of buying new, since it's out of warranty by now, here is detailed on how to replace the encoder. It'll cost you few bucks with shipping and some soldering work.

I just ordered TTC 9mm green encoder from amazon and will update with results :)

I have the same problem with scrolling, but my CADMouse Pro is still under warranty.
I do not have the skills to do the repair myself.
I opened a support request, let's see what they say.

Same problem. Compact Pro Wireless. I have one that is a couple years old, one less than a year. I thought it was a driver update needed because they are both having the same isssue.

My mistake. It is only the 2-year old mouse that has the erratic scrolling. I'll send it in to 3DConnexion.

I was incorrect on my newer mouse; it's just the older one with the problem. I'll send in a tech support request as kindly requested by the moderator.
