Space mouse not working in Mudbox

Just installed Mudbox 2023. It doesn't seem to recognize the Space Navigator. I've updated all the drivers but the menu for the navigator does not show up on the camera cube and the navigator doesn't work. Navigator works in other apps including 3DMax.

What am I doing wrong?

Mudbox 2019, Win10 x64, 3DxWare:10.8.12.3545, 3DxWinCore 17.8.12.19992

I think you can try running Mudbox as administrator. Right click the Mudbox icon and select "Run as administrator". This sometimes helps with device recognition issues.

Consider running Mudbox as an administrator by right-clicking the Mudbox icon and selecting "Run as administrator." This step has proven effective in addressing certain device recognition issues.

Launching Mudbox as administrator is something you might want to try. Select "Run as administrator" from the context menu that appears when you right-click Movable Type. Device recognition troubles are occasionally helped by this.

It's very possible Autodesk forgot to add support for the driver.
i would suggest contacting Autodesk and see if this is possible.
Starting the driver in admin mode can work, but if it does not, this means AutoDesk did not add the support.
