Spacemouse Wireless spin clockwise & in / out not working in Lightroom

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. The Mouse is properly installed and works just fine (i can use it without issue in Fusion 360 and with the trainer app).

For some reason, when using Adobe Lightroom Classic with an 14" MacBook pro M1 Max running Ventura, the spin clock wise is NOT detected. neither are the IN and Out... Counterclockwise works just fine. The mouse is plugged directly into the computer.

I've tried removing the app the re-adding it to 3DConnexion Home. I also tried clicking using defaults. nothing seems to work

interestingly space mouse does not work with safari either. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling 3d connexion home. The extension is not blocked. I'm not sure what is causing this
