SpaceMouse Pro Wireless hardware version numbers?

Hi

So apparently the current hardware version of the Spacemouse pro wireless is "3DX-700075" - and I just ordered and received one advertised as that version from ebay. The box it came in says "3DX-700075" on the side - but the sticker on the bottom of the actual mouse says P/N: "3DX-600047".

Did I get scammed? or does the box version number advance separately from the actual device version number?

What is the difference between the different P/N numbers, are there any functional differences between the versions?

I don't think there is anything wrong with this.
A few days ago I bought a CadMouse Pro Wireless from 3Dconnexion online shop.
On the box PN: 3DX-700116
On the mouse P/N: 3DX-600065
My previous mouse was a CadMouse, also bought directly from 3Dconnexion.
On the box PN: 3DX-700052
On the mouse P/N: 3DX-600050
