I will be going part time remote for my job soon and currently rely on a somewhat complicated macro simulating lots of keystrokes that I wrote for the 3dconnexion software. I will be given a laptop which will give me access to my current work pc but I will not have access to a space mouse at home and still need to run this macro. Any ideas?
For clarification:
- The job will under no circumstances allow downloading any other software on either desktop or laptop (I got lucky with the space mouse already having the macro feature built in)
- I cannot run any PowerShell scripts or it will be flagged and considered a problem
- I cannot use VBA as it is not able to access the software that I use this macro for
- Running Windows 10
Options?
- Is it possible to somehow run the xml macro code for the space mouse a different way like through command prompt or something else?
- Is there any other way to achieve the same result of having a bunch of simulated keystrokes
