Spacemouse Wireless lag and stuttering after Fusion 360update

Since updating F360 last night my wireless SpaceMouse has become laggy and stuttery. The only info I can find recommends "enabling SpaceMouse SDK 4 preview", which is only a feature for "Fusion 360 Insider" users, whatever that is. Has anybody else experienced this and found a way to fix it?

I've updated my 3Dx software to the latest version today (which includes drivers by the looks of it), fully charged mouse, and it's right next to the USB dongle, plus it also works fine with the 3Dx viewer to test it. F360 support just says that because I'm a free user I should F off and can't contact them. I will not pay for the most unreliable software I have ever used!
