Installation stuck at

Hi, I have a spacemouse compact and am trying to make it work on my MBP with Sonoma 14.3.1.

However installing it, it always gets stuck at "Running package scripts"

This problem has been an issue for 6 months now really and I re-try it every now and then and it just pretty much never works.

I've tried for example to uninstall any sign of anything associated with 3dconnexion on this computer, but just absolutely nothing works.

Is this there anyone out there who was able to overcome this problem?
