Windows 7 64 Bit + Solidworks 2010x64 + 4000 FLX

A few years ago when we upgraded to solidworks 2010, the 3d connexion folks told me my spaceball 4000 flx wouldn't work anymore and that I had to buy a new one. Well, after some driver installation work I did get the spaceball working and it's been working great ever since. Now alas my IT department is upgrading me to windows 7, and I was wondering is there any trick to getting the 4000 to work in windows 7 with SW 2010x64?
