I use QMK for my keyboard and I needed to add new software today for the first time in a while. I could not get this to work because the keyboard kept being recognised as a 3DConnection device thus the flashing failed. To resolve this I had to fully uninstall the software for the Space Mouse, flash the keyboard and then reinstall the Space Mouse software. Feels like it is not quite right.
It would be good if the QMK software could be checked against your drivers and adjustments made such that this becomes unnecessary in the future.
